Incredible Ocean View - Our spectacular panoramic 3-island ocean view spans the distance from Kahoolawe and Molokini in the south, to Lanai, and to the West Maui Mountains to the north. The virtual tour of this stunning ocean view (GO TO VIRTUAL TOURS) was photographed from our corner lanai (one of three) and in reality appears much closer. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing, you can enjoy your morning coffee while spotting whales or watching the boats make their way to Molokini. And at the end of the day you can hear distant conch shell horns announce another breathtaking Maui ocean sunset while enjoying a libation on one of the lanais.

Art and Spaciousness - Graced with beautiful paintings by local artists (George Allen, Dale Zarrella, Curtis Wilson Cost, Anthony Casay, et. al.), award-winning Asian prints and bronze sculpture (Dale Zarrella), this condominium has high cathedral ceilings, limestone floors and wool carpeting, and a great feeling of spaciousness (GO TO VIRTUAL TOURS). Central air conditioning and ceiling fans in all rooms keep this unit cool and comfortable.

Master Bedroom - The master bedroom has a comfortable cal-king-size bed while the master bath features fine Italian slab marble throughout. The vanity has twin basins, the large shower is equipped with dual spray heads, and there’s a separate Japanese-style deep soaking tub with Jacuzzi jets and its own TV/VCR, adorned by striking custom hand-painted tiles by local artist Susan Conway. The side lanai off the master bedroom affords a hidden tropical garden view. There’s also a small office equipped with a complementary high-speed Internet station and laser printer that can be closed off from the master bedroom to provide a quiet retreat.

Guest Bedroom - The high-ceiling guest bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed while the bath vanity and large walk-in shower with dual spray heads are finished in stunning green and silver quartzite. This bedroom has its own private lanai with full-ocean view, and is equipped with two full-length loungers and an intimate glass-top table for two.

Kitchen - The state-of-the-art kitchen is fully equipped as your own home would be and features dramatic yet spacious granite counter tops. It has everything for the gourmet cook including a Cuisinart food processor, Kitchen Aid mixer and many other gadgets (GO TO AMENITIES). A complete set of Denby china dinnerware for six in the noted Harlequin pattern will be found in the cupboards.

Dining Area – The island-style glass-top table for six is positioned in front of the large picture window facing the ocean, just next to the kitchen for easy serving. You can set the mood to your liking with candles and adjustable recessed lighting.

Corner Lanai– Just off the living room and dining area, the corner lanai is where you will want to spend time gazing at the marvelous ocean view to the west or the lush gardens of the green belt to the north. A raised table with four bar chairs, ideal for watching the morning boat traffic or the evening sunset, and two separate lounge chairs add to the informal island atmosphere. And you can cook your steak or your fresh Mahi-mahi on the outdoor barbeque grill.

Entertainment - The living room is equipped with a Sony 40” high-resolution flat screen TV, DVD and VCR players, an audio CD player (Hawaiian music CDs provided), and an audio or audio/video iPod station. Separate full-size TVs with DVD players are furnished in both bedrooms, a small TV with VCR player in the kitchen, and a small TV/VCR in the master bath. A substantial DVD movie library is included for the use of our guests.

Our Beach - Keawakapu Beach, on the western side of Wailea Ekahi Village, is just a 2-minute walk from our front door through a locked private beach-access gate, and there are no highways or roads to cross! Few tourists visit this beach as large homes make access more difficult. Its wide, gentle sloping sands afford great swimming and a lava rock reef near the Ekahi entrance offers good snorkeling and diving. We provide beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and boogey boards for the use of our guests.

Oceanfront Beach Walk - We like to start our day with a gorgeous two-mile oceanfront walk for coffee/lattes at Ciao (located in the Fairmont Kea Lani Hotel, Ciao also bakes our favorite bread on Maui). This picturesque paved walkway begins at adjacent Mokapu Beach, passes through Elua Beach (one of the best snorkeling and SCUBA beaches on the island), and continues south along the ocean’s edge to the Kea Lani Hotel. Be sure to watch for giant sea turtles along the way, especially at the rocks in front of the Marriott Outrigger and Wailea Point condos. There are beach access paths to other destinations if you’d prefer a shorter walk.

Pools and Pavilion - Wailea Ekahi Village has four swimming pools. The largest is next to the beach-side pavilion (GO TO MAPS) and one of the others, which are designated quiet zones for swimming, reading or sunbathing, is close to our condo. The oceanfront pavilion may be reserved in advance for private parties, and features a large open-grille barbecue and a very well appointed kitchen. The covered pavilion provides shade for people who want a respite from the sun.
